The Experience

God desires to be in close relationship with us...to teach us, to comfort us, to speak to us, to walk with us through our life's journey. The Tabernacle is a wonderful demonstration of His love for us, His people. Each piece of furniture leads us closer and closer to our Holy God. He longs for us to come into His presence and fellowship with Him.

Betty and Diane have presented a 'Tabernacle Walk-Through Experience' to children and adults at a variety of churches, in settings like women's retreats and Sunday services. They begin their presentation with an explanation of the purpose of the Tabernacle in Old Testament times, then describe how each piece of furniture points us to Jesus and His sacrifice of death on a cross. Finally, they show us how this Tabernacle model continues to speak to us, personally, today.

Following the presentation, each person is invited to walk through a Tabernacle replica, stopping at each piece of furniture to experience God. It begins at the Brazen Altar where we see our need for a Saviour and ends in the Holy of Holies where we find mercy and grace in our Father's loving arms.

Each person experiences this journey, individually, in his or her own way. God, our Creator, knows our deepest needs and will meet us there.

"We had the wonderful experience of having Betty and Diane come and present the Walk through Experience of the Tabernacle with our congregation. This was the finale to the 12 week study we had done with the Sunday School children. WOW! What I experienced was the love these ladies have for God's Word and teaching it to our children.
